The Great Houses of Marjorie Merriweather Post

Marjorie Merriweather Post lived a gilded age lifestyle well into the 20th century, travelling between her Washington, D.C. estate of Hillwood, where she spent spring and fall, Camp Topridge, her summer retreat in the Adirondacks, and Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach property she built and where she spent the winter season. She inherited her father's company, Post Cereal, in 1914 when she was 27 years old. Learn more about the biography of this fascinating, independent woman; take a virtual tour through Hillwood; and get a peek into her unparalleled collection of historic and twentieth century jewelry in the lecture by Kate Markert, Executive Director of Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens.
